Rahat has released a video and clarified in this matter, saying that the person whom he is seen beating in the video is his disciple. He further said that the relationship between a master and his disciple is such that we love him for his good work. And when he makes a mistake, we also give him punishment.
The man and his father who are seen being beaten in the viral video are also seen in the video. In the video, that person also agrees with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and tells that it is false that his master beat him because of a liquor bottle. Actually there was water in it and I had forgotten that water bottle somewhere. Therefore, Ustad beat me but it is his greatness that he even apologized to me later.
Two more videos of that person have been uploaded on Rahat’s official Instagram handle. In which he is seen saying that Ustad has apologized to me. I am embarrassed in front of his greatness.
